Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017

Happy New Year Everyone! I hope that you all are having a good 2017 so far.

2016 contained a lot of book related firsts for me, essentially it is when “theclumsybookworm” was born. I joined bookstagram, started this blog, and made many wonderful new friends.

My blog posts were not as regular as I would have liked, due in large part to things beyond my control (Stupid cancer! Although my Nana is doing well, under the circumstances.) One of my 2017 goals is definitely to post more!

I also managed to read 10 books in 2016…

1. The Queen of the Tearling By Erika Johansen

My review post can be found here

2. A Court of Thorns and Roses By Sarah J. Maas

3. Throne of Glass By Sarah J. Maas

4. Crown of Midnight By Sarah J. Maas

5. Fangirl By Rainbow Rowell

My review post can be found here

6. Cinder By Marissa Meyer

My review post can be found here

7. Three Dark Crowns By Kendare Blake

My review post can be found here

8. The Selection By Kiera Cass

9. The Elite By Kiera Cass

10. The One By Kiera Cass

Ten books is two more than I read in 2015,  but I definitely want to do even better in 2017.

In 2016, I also started quite a few books and then didn’t finish them. The four that I would most like to go back and finish this year are…

1. Heir of Fire By Sarah J. Maas

2. A Court of Mist and Fury By Sarah J. Maas

3. The Raven Boys By Maggie Stiefvater

4. Scarlet By Marissa Meyer

In addition to these, there are a TON of books in my TBR jar.

So I definitely have to sort out my 2017 reading goals. Haha.

What about you guys? What books are you hoping to read this year? Any of the ones in this post match up?

I hope that 2017 is a wonderful year for all of you!

Thanks for stopping by,
